Shipping & Delivery
How long will my order take to arrive?
- Once your order is dispatched, depending on where you are in Australia, it can take up to 8 business days to reach you.
- If your order is being shipped internationally, please allow up to 15 business days for your order to arrive, as shipping times can vary quite a lot depending on where you are.
- Please keep in mind that shipping delays can occur, and that this is usually out of our control. If you feel your order is taking too long to reach you, contact us via email on sales@gigachew.com.au and we will see how we can help.
Why hasn't my order been dispatched yet?
Please allow up to 2 business days for your order to be dispatched. Once your order has been dispatched by us, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number so you can track your package. Please note, we do not dispatch orders over the weekend due to Australia Post closures.
My tracking number still says ‘pending’ even though my order has been dispatched?
We lodge all of our orders in person at a post office to ensure your parcels are safely received by Australia Post. If you receive your tracking and it displays ‘pending’, it can simply mean the post office has not yet scanned your parcel. Please allow a few days for this to change, as it can sometimes take a day or two before the parcel is picked up by their system. If you have any concerns regarding this, please contact us via email on sales@gigachew.com.au
My order states it was ‘delivered’, but I never received it. What can I do?
If your tracking number displays that your parcel has been delivered and you have not received it, please contact us urgently on sales@gigachew.com.au and we will contact the parcel provider for you.
I never received a tracking number.
Our apologies! Sometimes our confirmation emails do not link the tracking correctly. If you did not receive a tracking number, please contact us on sales@gigachew.com.au and we will get the number to you.
My order has arrived damaged/missing items.
If this occurs, please contact us immediately via email (sales@gigachew.com.au) with details of the damage or missing items and photos displaying this.
My country isn't available to ship to, what can I do?
We ship internationally, however due to postage regulations some countries are out of our reach. If your country isn’t already available for shipping, please feel free to email us on sales@gigachew.com.au and we will see if we can assist.
General Questions
How many pieces of gum are there in one bag?
Our gum is 100% natural and therefore each nugget varies in size and shape. Due to this, each bag can contain anywhere between 50-60 pieces of gum.
How long will one bag last me?
This depends on the frequency that you are chewing the gum and whether you are reusing it or not. If you were not reusing any pieces, and you chewed our gum a few times per week it should last you over one month!
How long can I chew the gum for?
As long as you like!! Our gum does not break down or lose flavour, therefore you can chew it until your jaw can’t take it anymore.
Is your gum safe to chew with braces?
Unfortunately, we cannot advise on whether or not this is safe. Our gum is quite hard and tacky, therefore if you wish to chew while you have orthodontic equipment installed, please contact your dentist.
What flavour is the gum?
As it is 100% natural it has a very nature-based flavour. Some say it tastes like pine (the tree), others say it is more earthy flavoured. It is a refreshing flavour overall and not overpowering, so its pleasant to chew for long periods of time.
How can I use my portable tin?
You can use your portable tin however you please, but we recommend using it to transport small amounts of gum, such as in your gym bag or in your pocket. Alternatively, if you like to re-chew your gum once or twice, you can use it to store a chewed piece to keep it clean and sanitary.
